Refer a friend and get a discount

All you need to get a discount with Bolt is to have the Bolt app downloaded from Google Play or App Store and have a friend who wants a discount for Bolt service (it’s a win-win). 

Receiving a 70% discount (maximum RM 15 per ride) for your next 5 rides is easy — invite your friends to sign up and take a ride with Bolt using your referral code. You’ll automatically receive your 70% discount (maximum RM 15 per ride) on your next 5 rides once they complete their first ride using your referral code. They’ll also get 70% off their first 5 rides (maximum RM 15 per ride).*

To find your unique referral code: 

1. Open the Bolt app and go to the left-side menu;
2. Go to Promotions and find ‘Share and save’;
3. You’ll see your referral code at the bottom of the screen. Share it with your friends! Your code will be displayed at the bottom of the screen and you’ll have multiple ways to share the code with your friends. Your code can be shared via your social media pages, SMS, or any other medium of choice.

Few things to consider

Before you share your referral code, please remember the following:

• The referral code can only be redeemed by new customers who don’t share a payment method or a device with an existing customer.
• The referral code can’t be redeemed by existing users who create new accounts.
• The referral codes are meant for personal purposes — you can share your code with your peers, but don’t start a public campaign around it (oh yes, we’ll notice…).
