With every new year comes renewed attitudes and goals as we set the foundations for the rest of the year. But after an expensive holiday season, it can also be difficult to do so.
We’ve put together 3 traditions and practices to incorporate into your new year to help you switch up your routine!
Reflect on the past year
Take some time to look back on last year. Make a mental or physical note of lessons you’ve learned, your favourite (and not-so-favourite) memories, and everything you’re grateful for. You can do this alone or with a group of friends and family.
At Bolt, our favourite memories have been on the journeys we took with you — that’s why we went on a #ARideThroughTime together.
Create a savings plan
At the centre of many New Year’s goals is the intention to save money. So, turn those intentions into actions by creating a savings plan. Simply create a budget that outlines your income and expenses, and find ways to create a healthy balance between them.
There are also some steps you can take with Bolt that leave you with more in your pocket:
Get a New Year’s Resolution
Setting resolutions and goals at the start of the year is normal. But keeping them is the hard part.
To make your resolutions stick, they must be realistic, and you need accountability.
Some of our favourite resolutions are;
Reach out to a friend and visit that new place, or try something different at a restaurant together. Create and share your resolutions while proposing ways to support each other in attaining your goals.
It’s a #BoltGivingZA
We’re also making it easier for you to adopt these new traditions through our #BoltGivingZA campaign. Get through 2024 by entering our competition where you could be our grand winner walking away with an exclusive R20 000 promo code! That’s a year’s worth of free trips!
